Shipping Policy

Many folks ask how long it may take to receive a plant delivery.  That depends on the time of year and you should expect a longer delay in the spring verses later in the season.  During the busy part of the year (typically March through June), deliveries can be a week or more and as the season slows (July-August and October-November) it may be as little as 1 to 3 days.  Remember this is just an estimate and delivery times can vary.

Gardening folks often ask about delivery costs.  Fuel and labor are certainly a factor in determining costs.  This varies by location and we suggest calling us at 208.484.7044 and get a quote.

Return & Exchange Policy

Plants that are not installed, still in the original containers may be returned for a refund within 3 days of purchase.  A restocking fee of 20% of the purchase price will be charged for this type of transaction. 

Fertilizers, chemicals, and other hard goods may be returned within 7 days of the purchase if the product has not been opened.  A restocking fee of 15% of the purchase price will be charged for this type of transaction. 

Many of our wholesale's refuse to take back products, thus causing us to charge our customers for products returned.

Landscape services in which we install a product has no return policy.  We do however guarantee plant installation for 90 days starting from the last day of installation.  If a plant should die within 90 days, we will replace the plant and install the plant at no charge.  Replacement is limited to a one-time replacement.  Plants and other products not purchased from us but installed by Private Gardens have no guarantee whatsoever.
